Shipment of platforms for the Second Vehicle Assembly Building at ISRO

Kay Bouvet Engineering continues to ship platforms to the Satish Dhavan Space Centre (SDSC, SHAR), a development that sets the company closer to complete this critical project received last year by ISRO.

With a total assembly weight of over 3500 Tonnes, composed of guide columns 74 meters high with an allowable deviation of only 2mm after erection, only a company with such high grade manufacturing capabilities as Kay Bouvet Engineering can be able to achieve the required parameters.

The close partnership between Kay Bouvet Engineering & ISRO has been key to the development of this key project. The Second Vehicle Assembly Building will enable the space organization to almost double their rocket building capabilities, in time for the next decades projected growth.
